Laguna Colgada Hazadillas Reserve |
In 1998 the Regional Government of Castilla La Mancha proclaimed as Nature Reserve the previously acquired lands of Hazadillas, Era Vieja and Madero.
Its strategic location, on the left bank of the lagoons Conceja, Tomilla, Tinaja, Redondilla, Lengua, Salvadora, Santos Morcillo, Batana and Colgada, adds an enormous importance to the maintenance of this Nature Reserve. After several years visiting the site it is possible to see how plant life has regenerated, the increase of attractive animal species, as well as the safeguarding of certain traditional advantages. Proper handling of these lands will benefit the encouraging evolution of the reserve.
